Pete Ochoa has been performing his recital of the Mexican-American poem, I Am Joaquin,
for over 35 years. He tells the story of how he came to fall in love
with an important piece of Chicano history and how he is doing his part
to preserve and spread awareness of its existance and importance.
I Am Joaquin was written by Rodolfo "Corky" Gonzalez.
